A jersey will be provided for all K-Flag players & must be returned at the end of the season. If you fail to do so, you will be charged the fee for the item you do not return.  We recommend that you purchase athletic shorts without pockets. Tennis shoes or cleats are both fine for this league.

1st Flag Practice

A helmet, game jersey and a basic mouthpiece will be provided for all Flag players. All items with the exception of the mouthpiece will be returned at the end of the season. If you fail to do so, you will be charged the fee for the item you do not return. You will need to purchase cleats, white socks and white athletic shorts without pockets. Many players choose to purchase their own upgraded mouthguard and keep the basic mouth piece as a backup. As long as it has a strap to connect the mouthpiece to the helmet you may wear your own.

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY TO REGISTER: 

1. First, complete your SWYFC registration HERE.

2. Once you complete SWYFC registration & PAY SWYFC you will get the discount code to use for KCFC registration.

3. Next, visit the KCFC Fall Football website page, scroll to the bottom and click on Register Now.

4. On this KCFC website page, you will set up a new account with their new registration platform.

5. Once logged into KCFC website, choose the fall tackle 3rd through 7th grade program (may be automatic)

6. DO NOT pay KCFC! Instead, use the discount code that was provided when you completed your SWYFC registration.

7. Also, in KCFC select NO for equipment rental. Equipment will be provided through SWYFC. 

8. Also in KCFC select No for physicals through them (its in Olathe),  we provide an option through SWYFC in Smithville on 7/20/26

9. Your balance at KCFC check out should be $0.00.

   • If it's not $0.00, do not check out, that means you have double paid!

• A helmet, Guardian Cap, game jersey, game pants, shoulder pads, practice jersey and a basic mouthpiece will be provided for all Tackle players. All items with the exception of the mouthpiece will be returned at the end of the season. If you fail to do so, you will be charged the fee for the item you do not return.

YOU need to purchase: cleats, black practice pants and white socks. Any white athletic sock is fine. Many players choose to purchase their own upgraded mouthguard and keep the basic mouth piece as a backup. As long as it has a strap to connect the mouthpiece to the helmet you may wear your own.

You will need to upload the following documents during registration, or bring them to equipment check-out:

• 2025-2026 school grade card to show proof of age.

• A physical form filled out by your family physician dated within the last 2 years. We are offering physicals on July 20th at the Warriors Athletic Center starting at 4pm.  $20 proceeds for the physicals benefit the SWYFC program.

• A COPY of your birth certificate (if new to the program)

KCFC Weight Ins

• August 7th at 5pm at Smith's Fork Park

Included in Registration Fee:

• Uniform, warm up jacket and bow. 

• Cheer Clinic with the High School

• Professional Choreographer

• Week long cheer training partnered through Shoot For the Stars, August 10th-14th

Not Included in Registration Fee but required to participate: You will need to purchase white shoes, a black long sleeve top, black briefs, black leggings, and white socks.

• MANDATORY to attend 1 of these dates! BRING YOUR CHEERLEADER!

• Sunday, June 7th (1:30-3:30pm)

• Thursday, June 25th (5:30-7:30pm)

Cheer Practices: 

• Thursdays from 6-7pm for ALL ages at Smith’s Fork Park

• July 23th 6-7pm is the first cheer practice

Stunting Practices:

• This is for 3rd - 6th grade (tackle) squads only.

• If your cheerleader wants to stunt she is required to attend both Cheer and Stunting practices weekly.

• Prior to games beginning it will be Sundays 3-4pm at Smithville Middle School. 

• After games start it will be Mondays 6-7pm

• July 26th 3-4pm is the first stunting practice

Due to uniform ordering & shipping, any late registrations must pay $75 plus any additional shipping fees incurred by SWYFC. Also, your child will not have a cheer uniform for 6 weeks after order is placed, which means they may not have a uniforms for a portion of the cheer season.
